Charles T. Zachry SCV Camp #108 Lt. Commander Mark Pollard has been hard at work getting us some great speakers in the upcoming months-please mark your calanders and plan to attend these informative and enjoyable events:

Here is the Col. Charles T. Zachry, SCV Camp #108's next scheduled monthly speakers. Below is also included the date of our huge Confederate Memorial day event. (This covers the next few months of event activites of Camp 108 of McDonough).

March 22, 2010-
Mrs. Carolyn Beck of the Henry County Geneology Society will present a program on, "How to Trace Your Confederate Ancestors." This program will be surely welcomed as our McDonough SCV Camp continues to grow with new members.

April 2010-
April 25, 2010 - (2:00 PM) - Come join our celebration with the ladies of the Henry County UDC with our rededication of the 100th Anniversary of the McDonough Confederate Monument at our Historic City Square. The 8th Ga. (Brass) Regimental Band will perform at the ceremony rededication. Tables of excavated WBTS artifacts from Henry County along with pictures of Henry County CSA veterans will also be on display. Lots more planned. For more information, contact: Adj. May 2010-
Dr. Gordon L. Jones, Ph.D. - Senior Military Historian and Curator of the Atlanta History Center will present a Powerpoint program on, "The George Wray Confederate Collection." This incredible Confederate collection will soon be coming to the AHC - it's a relatively new acquisition and is not on exhibit yet, so his presentation will be exclusive!
